Icewater sell water division to Culligan Water

Azets Ireland advises Icewater on the sale of their water division to Culligan Water

Azets Ireland are delighted to have advised Icewater, a Dublin-based hospitality group, on the sale of its still and sparkling water division to Culligan Water.

Icewater, which is part of the Euro Refrigeration Group of companies in Ireland, has offices in Finglas, Dublin and employs 32 people, who will stay with the business.

Greg Hogan led the Azets Ireland corporate finance team on the sale of the business with Alma O Brien advising on the taxation aspects of the transaction.

The ERG Group celebrates 35 years in business this year. The company provides bar and refrigeration equipment to the hospitality industry in Leinster and beyond. Its clients include the 3 Arena, Johnny Fox's, the Castleknock Hotel as well as the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel in Dublin.

The transaction was led on the Icewater side by Jimmy Guerin, with financial advisory support from Azets Ireland and legal guidance from Clark Hill.

On the Culligan side, the transaction was spearheaded by managing director, John O'Connor, supported by Grant Thornton for financial advisory and LK Shields on legal.
