Azets Ireland (previously O’Connor Leddy & Holmes) is delighted to have advised AML Insurance Brokers (“AML Insurance”) on their sale to Campion Insurance Limited (“Campion”) which leads PIB Group Limited’s (“PIB”) Irish division. The Rathmines-based insurance provider is the 21st Irish brokerage acquired by PIB to date.
The Corporate Finance team was led by David Lucas, Conor O’Rourke, Nigel Mayberry and Calum Hill while Alan Kirwan, Ian Gardiner, Anne Marie James and Betty Rushe of Kirwan McKeown James LLP Solicitors acted as legal advisors to AML Insurance.
David Arigho, Managing Director of AML Insurance Brokers said:

Matthew Cole, Blayre McBride, Hannah Foulsham and Rebecca Clabby of DLA Piper acted as legal advisors to Campion. Tax due diligence was completed by Deloitte, led by Jackie Coughlan, Rob O’Dwyer, Eithne Lunn, Anthony Lane and David Moran whilst financial due diligence was completed internally by Jack Rowe and Michela Pittaluga of PIB.
